THE BROW ICON OF SOUTH TAMPA

Amanda Rustmann is the go-to expert in South Tampa for perfectly tamed and customized brows.

A 90's girl who once fell victim to the era’s infamous skinny eyebrow trend, Amanda’s journey from over-plucking regret to eyebrow guru has made her a household name for women eager to restore and perfect their arches.

Her mantra,

“Good Brows. Good Mood. Good Day.”

reflects her belief in the transformative power of well-designed eyebrows and the confidence they inspire.

Amanda's artistic journey began in childhood, notably when she used her mother's red nail polish to "enhance" the dining room wallpaper. This early passion led her to earn an Art History degree at the University of South Florida, where she was inspired by the portrayal of unibrows in Islamic art as symbols of beauty, class, and spirituality. Combining this insight with her understanding of the Golden Ratio, she developed a unique approach to eyebrow design that harmonizes facial features.

She noticed that the starting point of the eyebrows could be determined by aligning the top points of the cupid's bow with the divots where the nose meets the nostrils. After college, she pursued esthetician training, discovering a talent for visualizing perfect angles and proportions.

Under the mentorship of an Anastasia Beverly Hills expert, she mastered techniques like brow mapping and the use of signature stencils, blending art and science to create eyebrow designs that honor both cultural significance and individual uniqueness.

In 2014, Amanda founded Amanda Rustmann Custom Eyebrow Design and Skincare in South Tampa. She revolutionized the brow experience, believing that no two brows are the same. Drawing on her art background, Amanda developed a fully customized approach to brow design, considering factors like age, skin type, and individual facial features.

Her clients return for consistency, as she catalogs personalized stencils for each customer — a concept as tailored as custom suits from a master tailor.

Over the years, Amanda’s expertise and passion for connection inspired the launch of her Brow Collection, a brow product line featuring powders, pencils, gels, highlighters and brushes.

The line is a celebration of Amanda’s love for girl trips with her best friends, where beauty routines became bonding rituals.

Each product name, like Newport Nude, Vegas Brunette, and Austin Glaze, reflects the fun and camaraderie of these trips, embodying a sense of empowerment and friendship.

"There’s nothing like getting ready with your girls, glamming up, feeling beautiful and being the best version of yourself. These shades are named after that exact feeling. Find those friends, be yourself with absolutely no judgement, and go make memories" says Rustmann.
